Bangladesh is a country divided in seven states/districts. None of these states have their own flags. Flags are a powerful symbol. Using the basic rules of flag design and history and culture of these states, I've designed a state flag for each of the states of Bangladesh.

Dhaka (Dacca) is the capital state of Bangladesh where resides the House of Parliament of Bangladesh. The parliament house was designed by the architecture Louis Kahn. I was inspired by the design of the parliament house while designing this flag.

Khulna is the home to the largest mangrove forest in the world, Sundarban. Sundarban is the home to Royal Bengal Tiger and spotted deer.

Rajshahi is known to be the silk heaven of Bangladesh. This district is also the largest mango producer of Bangladesh. The  flag includes symbol of golden circle  which represents silk industry along with two mango tree leaves.

Sylhet is the district of tea garden. Sylhet produces the most tea leaves and imports then all around the world.

Chittagong is the home of Cox's Bazar, the longest running sea beach in the world. Cox's Bazar is also the only sea beach in the world where the sunset and sunrise both can be seen.

Borishal is the state of river. Being so close to the water make's Borishal's soil very fertile making Borishal one of the top agricultural state of Bangladesh.

Mymensingh is the newest district in Bangladesh. It is also the largest state of Bangladesh.
